How the Developer Works process works

Our Land Development department assists developers in ensuring that all new developments have availability to reticulated water and/or sewer. All extensions to the Goulburn Valley Water reticulation network are developer funded.

For developments that require the construction of new water and/or sewerage infrastructure, developers must use a Goulburn Valley Water Accredited Consultant and Contractor (see lists below). The Corporation will work through the Land Development process with the Consultant acting on the Developers behalf.

Once the Developer funded infrastructure has been constructed, the assets are transferred to GVW, becoming part of our growing network.
