Intention

Once completion of the Developer works, the Consultant must submit all required Preliminary Acceptance documentation.

When all the Preliminary Acceptance requirements are satisfied Preliminary Acceptance Notice will be issued.

In the case where the works were included as part of a subdivision, the Land Development team will then look to issue Consent to Statement of Compliance if all Planning Permit Conditions have been fulfilled.

The Defects Period applies for 12 months from the date of Preliminary Acceptance Notice.

Forms for submission

The Consultant must submit Preliminary Acceptance Certification (PDF, 150kb) along with:

► 'As Constructed' plans. Information to be provided on these plans includes:

Water Reticulation

  • Offset from building line to main
  • Where a road crossing occurs, the distance from the fittings (levels) to the nearest property side boundary
  • Where a main changes alignment, the distance from the nearest property side boundary to fittings (bends)
  • Distance from fire plugs and valves to nearest property side boundary

Sewer Reticulation

The following levels to AHD:

  • Manhole entrance and exit inverts
  • Property connection 'top of caps'
  • Top of manhole

The following measurements are to be provided:

  • Distance from property connection to centre of nearest downstream manhole
  • Distance from property connection to nearest property side boundary.
