RUSHWORTH –
Water use update: Due
to extreme rainfall in the Rushworth area Goulburn Valley Water’s ability to supply potable
(drinking) water to the town has been impacted.
As a result, the potable water standpipe is temporarily closed until further notice.
We also ask customers to
restrict water use where possible.
Our Operations team is working on the issue and expects water use to return to normal and the standpipe to be reopened in the next 24 years. There is no impact on water quality during this time.
Customers will be contacted by SMS when water use returns to normal. Water carters will also be contacted via SMS when the standpipe is reopened.
