Euroa standpipe |
Update 4/2/25 10.30am - The Euroa standpipe will be reopened today at midday - 12pm. We appreciate your patience & apologise for any inconvenience
We are currently experiencing water supply issues at the
EUROA Water Treatment Plant. High water demand during the hot weather is placing
additional pressure on the plant and storage levels have dropped.
We have TEMPORARILY closed the EUROA standpipe until
further notice to help us continue to maintain drinking water supply across the
town during the hot weather. Importantly, the smaller 25mm connection will remain
accessible for those that require small volumes of water.
Users are asked to source water from standpipes in
neighbouring towns such as Seymour. Alternatively if the water is required for
activities such as construction there is a recycled water standpipe in Euroa
that could be utilised. To gain access to this standpipe please make contact
and we will organise for access to be arranged.
We'll keep you updated and let you know as soon as the
EUROA standpipe is reopened.
Thanks for your patience and assistance. |

Update 22 January Water issues have been resolved at the Mansfield Water Treatment Plant and storage levels have returned to normal. The Mansfield standpipe will be open at 8am today.
Thanks for your patience and assistance.
20 January We are currently experiencing water supply issues at the
Manfield Water Treatment Plant. High water demand during the hot weather is
placing additional pressure on the plant and storage levels have dropped.
The plant needs time to ‘catch up’ and recover, so we’re
asking customers to limit outdoor water use.
Please continue essential water use indoors – i.e.
cooking, drinking bathing, cleaning, running evaporative air conditioners,
keeping cool.
Where possible, limit watering lawns and large
gardens outdoors (small pot plants are okay), cleaning cars, and other
high-volume water use. Reducing outdoor water use will help us continue to
maintain drinking water supply across the town during the hot weather.
We have closed the Mansfield standpipe until further notice. Users are asked to source water from standpipes in neighbouring towns such as Bonnie Doon and Alexandra.
We'll keep you updated and let you know as soon as the plant has returned to
normal operations. |
