A pressure sewer is an environmentally friendly and efficient way of collecting and transporting wastewater from land that cannot be effectively serviced by gravity sewer.
The pressure sewer system consists of a pumping unit connected to the Goulburn Valley Water reticulated sewer system that transfers the collected wastewater to a wastewater treatment facility for treatment.
Costs vary for pressure sewer connections, dependent on the location of the unit and soil conditions.
